In November 2002, John McCoy, a Tulalip leader, was elected to the Washington State legislature, retired in April 2020. Their tribes are located in the mid- Puget Sound region of Washington. The Squaxin Island Tribe’s Little Creek Casino and the Suquamish Tribe’s Clearwater Casino both launched sportsbooks back in February, becoming the latest of 16 tribes to receive regulatory approval to operate sports betting.
The Washington State property plans to launch a sportsbook in Autumn 2022, in time for the NFL season, with the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe-operated casino set to join the steadily growing number of Washington sportsbooks. The property features a hotel, table games, bingo, over 600 slot machines and a golf course. Opened in 1995, 7 Cedars is located approximately two hours from Seattle.
